Although born in Barcelona, Andres Sarda has rebelled against the traditional Spanish underwear right from the very start. He wanted to revolutionise the unattractive and uncomfortable underwear by producing garments that were not only practical and ‘every-day’ comfortable, but elegant and sexy to go with it.
This interest in lingerie and underwear certainly didn’t happen by chance though; his family has been involved in the fashion and textiles industry since the 19th century. The family connection continues today with Andres’s daughter Nuria being heavily involved in the design of the collections produced.
The Risk collection of women’s underwear collections we see today was first launched in 1962. Now, along with the Andres Sarda and University brands they can be found in fashion stores throughout the world.
Andres Sarda – This range of lingerie is a collection of exotic, eccentric garments ranging from intricate lacy creations to sophisticated leopard print silks.
Risk – The risk collection does exactly what it says on the tin! Classy yet that little bit more revealing to make you feel even sexier. Ideal as a treat for yourself or even that special someone if you think they deserve it.
University – ‘Understated’ is what sums up the University collection. Simple designs with comfort for everyday use while still retaining the unmistakable Andres Sarda sex appeal. This is underwear you can wear to work every day, but certainly not something you’d worry about revealing in the bedroom should the situation arise. As the name suggests the collection almost has an air of innocence….but we know better than that.
