A classic French brand, Chantelle has been producing lingerie since 1876, when founder Monsieur Gamichon earned the gratitude of women everywhere by introducing comfortable elastic fibres to corsetry.

Comfort is still a priority for the brand, which adopted the name Chantelle in the 1950s. It uses delicate fabrics to create high quality, deliciously French lingerie that owes much to traditional manufacturing methods but is still very much inspired by current fashion trends.

Beautiful lace detailing adorns many of the lines offered by this long standing retailer. Smooth t-shirt bras are also a particular strong point; supermodel Claudia Schiffer is said to be a fan of the New Essensia t-shirt bra.  This pedigree is hardly surprising in light of the history of innovation which this brand has enjoyed.  It made its name creating comfortable, innovative lingerie and still maintains legions of loyal followers for the same reason
