Lepel Brand Profile

Lepel Lingerie was born 40 years ago in Italy and was established as a family underwear and hosiery business. Over the next 30 years it rose to become Italy’s third biggest lingerie label, selling underwear and bras to many generations of Italian women who appreciated the combination of great fit and fashion style.

This brand’s many underwear ranges are well known for their gorgeous lace detailing and embroidery. Lepel creates bras in sizes 32A to 38G.  The opportunity to own lingerie with beautiful Italian styling in sizes above DD has earned the brand many female fans.  Those requiring bigger cupped bras often find it difficult to find attractive, feminine, lingerie styles in sizes above DD.

Even their most basic bras are adorned with beautiful, simple detailing such as lace and ribbon.  The matching knickers and thongs create a simple yet effective and sexy look.  Little wonder that so many generations of Italian women became firm Lepel fans all those years ago.

The UK, Canadian, and Irish rights to the Lepel brand were bought by Sherwood in 2004, and they became the sole manufacturer and distributor of the brand. Sherwood created a strong buzz around the Lepel brand by launching all new swimwear and lingerie ranges. Sherwood later changed its trading name to Intimas.

Lepel remains a firm favourite with British female shoppers. To find out more about the Lepel label visit: -

I love underwear and I really like lepel. Im a 23 and a size 30/32 F and I find it a nitemare shopping for sexy lingerie on the high street and on the internet. I do find some nice pices but it isn’t straight forward, there are always too covered up and the designes are not as nice as the smaller cup bras. Most of the ones I see would be somthing I would wear if I where pregnant for the glam and support. Thanks..

Got something to say?
